Spontaneous combustion. That's what we called it back in the good ol' FidoNet days when someone would just blow up unexpectedly.
Today, Zed Shaw, author of Mongrel, spontaneously combusted. Gloriously.
I can't speak to his personal experiences, but I empathize with his technical complaints about Ruby on Rails. I've been toying with Django recently, and it's an absolute breath of fresh air in comparison with RoR.
I look forward to part 2 of Zed's rant.
